I actually knew someone who was tazered by a police officer, and died. Well, i did’nt personally know him but my friend went to school with the kids cousin. So i naturally felt close to him. I agree police do need some sort of defensive weapon to take down the bad guys, but the studies don’t lie and they say that people can die. I believe that this is an area of research that needs to be further developed to either A)develop a new defense mechanism for the officers to use, or B) develop a way to make them safer so that people with heart conditions ect. dont die. I suggest some form of a laghing lazer so that the victim may enjoy the takedown while still being subdued for the police to get em. Patend Pending.
