We decided to give Furusato a try cause apparently it was rated one of the best Japanese restaurants in Edmonton.

Located along Whyte Ave and 101 st I believe,

It’s a lil old restaurant which not many people can notice the entrance but for sure, will not regret the experience once they step inside.

Most of the patrons were the local Japanese and a lot of Asian people. *looks promising*

Anyway,

We ordered the Dinner Combos cause we’re cheap and we wanna try everything

Special Bento Box that came with everything.

Everything looked so good that he didn’t know where to start

The Sashimi was INSANELY GOOD OMG!

Fresh, no fishy smell and good texture … It was simply mouth orgasmic to Sashimi Lovers such as us

The tempura was really good too … but well, how wrong can you go with prawn and fried batter right

The avocado sushi and the chop scallop sushi was simply 2 thumbs up.

Honestly after trying a couple of Japanese restaurants here, I’ve never tasted the best Sashimi and Sushi until Furusato.

And yes,

His Bento Box came with Vanilla Ice-Cream too

We didn’t get to order Green Tea Ice Cream cause we were rushing for time.

We had an awesome time there and food was just AMAZING.

The freshest sashimi you can get in Edmonton.

For the price you pay, the quality is worth it.

Trust ME.

Once you go Furusato, you’ll never go back to Mikado

and the other japanese restaurants in Edmonton unless you’re in B.C of course
