Describe your BlogCamp experience, what you’ve learned, observations, etc.
BlopCamp was interesting. I figure my writing/style needs some fine tuning, actually, make that a huge overall. But is that something I can change? Not sure. I’ll work on that.
I met people that otherwise, I probably would have never met before. These guys and gals made the experience worth while and though I may not win, that’s fine with me. I entered without the intention of being a “winner.” I wanted to see what I could do with 9 hours, a computer, and random questions that would need some sort of a logical response.
A sat beside a fellow by the name of Patrick Finegan, and boy, was that awesome. He’s a good guy and hopefully I’ll have the opportunity to hang out with him some more.
I made some crazy videos.
I drank some Cola, ate some subs and pizza, and consumed way to much sugar. I’m full to say the least.
I saw and met the famous beat-boxer, beatblogger007. He007 did renditions of Super Mario, Tetris, Metal Gear Solid, Drop It Like It’s Hot, etc. This guy is wicked sick. I think he might have a youtube vid out now. Check him out.
I have one last thing to add, and that’s one of my famous dance vid’s. It also introduces the famous “Pistol” Pete whom you’ll know as soon as his part comes. I hope you Enjoi.

What role should any level of government take in social media? (federal, provincial ,city, crown corporations, educational institutions, etc)
Should social media be thwarted by the government? No. An attack on social media is an attack on free speech. What I choose to put on Facebook, Twitter, or MySpace is my choice and no one else. The difference between voicing my opinion and writing my opinion is no different. The target audience may be different, but that is it. Whatever happens is my fault and it shouldn’t be up to any form of government to limit how my opinion is voiced.
The people need to moderate their own actions. People aren’t dumb. They will learn that if they do something, and negative consequences arise, that duh, maybe they should change their actions. Let people learn. Let them screw up. Let us make mistakes. To be moderated in everything we do is not helping. We need to be let go and figure out life on our own.
We are the government and we need to voice our opinions and rise to the challenge. Nothing will ever change if we sit back and let the “select” few run our lives.

What have you learned about business? Why is business important?
Business is just about organization and communication. Business is an organic process that happens naturally in life. It can’t be avoided. If business wasn’t business, we would still have business. Business is only the word, not the idea.
It is important because it is apart of life. Nothing else can be said. Every aspect of life is essential and business is no exception.
Business is complicated, constantly evolving, and dynamic. No one will be able to master business, but I’m sure many can properly tame it.

Street Fighter, the Pinnacle of the fighting genre. I may not be as hardcore as some, but I would classify myself as an avid player/fan. This is one video game that I have grown up since I was a kid, and with the recent release of Street Fighter IV, the love for the series burns even more know.

Will Alberta better weather the current economic crisis than other regions?
I think this comic sums it up nicely. Just because someone else has been affected by the effects of the economic situation in parts of the world does not mean Alberta should turn its back and forgot it happened. To do so would make us look ignorant and cocky of a situation in which no one is immune to.
Yes, some places have it worse than others and that is unfortunate. Especially when some places did not contribute to the problems as others. So what if we are fairing better than others. Should we just stop there and pretend everything is fine in our own little world. No. Lets do something about it. If we are ahead of the game, lets help out and do our part to get our neighbors out of this mess. Canada is a nation of community and the last thing Alberta should do is sit on its high horse and look down on those who weren’t prepared or ready for such collapse. Who was ready? Lets just say Albertans should be thankful for the position that they’re in.
The weather is getting better and I hope the rest of the country will begin to see brighter days ahead.

Zelda has been an reliable game throughout the years. The adventure was magical and world of Hyrule is unique and diverse. The fact that you get to play the Ocarina in the game makes the whole adventure even better. I would sit for hours just making my own tunes with this wonderful instrument.

Have you ever held a taser in your hand? Have you ever felt the power surge through your body while holding a taser? Have you seen electricity blaze into the body of another person? If you said yes to any of these questions, I would like to meet you cause that’s soooo cool! And if you said no, well, that’s too bad.
Tasers need to be moderated, that is true. But I believe the taser is just the next in line weapon under the evolution of the hand-held weapon. Will it replace modern day guns, no, but it does give us an alternative in law enforcement. If I had the option to shoot a man (and because I have terrible aim, I would accidently kill him) or taser a man (no matter how terrible my aim is, I can still temporarily disable him), I’d probably choose the taser. I know I wouldn’t feel good about myself killing a man, no matter then crime. But if I can catch him with the use of my handy taser, and cause no long-term damage, then woohoo, all the power to the taser.
Of course, it’s not necessary to gang up on an assailant, and taser him to death. One wouldn’t do this with a gun, so why would anyone do this with a taser? Again, moderation is key. Law enforement needs adequate training and protocols when such a device can and should be used.
Take my Taser yo!!
Tasers are supposed to reduce deaths, not create them.
