We know already that facebook is used by organizations to check out potential employees and police organizations use it to search for connections between known gang members.  Is this appropriate? Does it help protect innocent people from harm? Or does it impede upon our fundamental human rights?  If you post information out in the open, is it all fair game?

If any level of government were to restrict social media it will undoubtedly loose a large part of its appeal to the public….  I don’t believe any censorship by the government is appropriate.
